Some things can only multiply after we’re willing to release them. This week we look at two ordinary images — someone sharing a cup of water, and a farmer planting seed — and find that they describe exactly how Christian community grows. We refresh others because Christ has already refreshed us. We keep planting because God is responsible for the harvest. A community becomes genuinely refreshing when grace stops collecting in us and starts moving through us.
